A New Urban Hotel Arrives in Yokohama in January 2026!

From Hoshino Resorts’ urban sightseeing brand “OMO,” the newest property OMO5 Yokohama Bashamichi is set to open. The opening date is January 15, 2026, on floors 46–51 of a high-rise mixed-use complex in Yokohama’s Bashamichi area.

Reservations opened on September 17, 2025, drawing attention from both leisure and business travelers at home and abroad. The concept is “360° Sky Voyage,” offering a special stay with sweeping night views of Yokohama Port and Minato Mirai from an elevation of 154 meters above ground.

Highlights

Breathtaking 360° Views from 154m Above the City

All guestrooms and shared areas are located on floors 46–51, providing a one-of-a-kind 360° panorama over Yokohama. Gaze out over the bay and Minato Mirai skyline, the Red Brick Warehouse, and Yamashita Park; after dark, the glittering nightscape becomes part of your travel story. The changing scenery throughout the day is a core part of the experience.

“OMO Base” — An Experience-Centric Commons

The brand’s signature public area, “OMO Base,” evolves further at this property.

The observation deck overlooks the Bay Bridge and Yokohama Port—perfect for photos and night views. In the play zone, billiards and table games encourage casual interaction among guests.

There’s also a gallery and theater to enjoy culture and art, turning your stay into a fusion of play and learning. More than a lobby, this is the hotel’s “beating heart” and a launchpad for your journey.

Connect with the City via OMO’s Signature “Go-KINJO”

Every OMO property offers the “Go-KINJO” program, where OMO Rangers (staff) share hand-drawn neighborhood maps and guided mini-tours for local-only experiences.

In Yokohama, beyond famous spots like the Red Brick Warehouse and Yamashita Park, jazz bars, craft-beer pubs, and hidden gems in Chinatown are spotlighted. At OMO5 Yokohama Bashamichi, OMO’s signature value—bridging “tourism” and “everyday city life”—comes to life.
