In 2028, Hoshino Resorts Launches Its First “Lodge” Brand
From the “Hoshinoya” brand developed by Hoshino Resorts, a new destination—Hoshinoya Lodge Niseko (tentative name)—will open in the Niseko Hirafu area of Kutchan Town, Hokkaido, in 2028. This will be not only the first “Hoshinoya” property in Hokkaido but also a project that introduces a new form of “residence hotel,” marking the evolution of the brand.

Onsen Pool with a View of Mt. Yotei
The top floor will feature an “Onsen Pool” fed by its own natural hot spring. Guests can enjoy the hot spring experience alongside breathtaking seasonal scenery—from snowy landscapes in winter to lush greenery in summer and colorful foliage in autumn.
A New Style: The Residence Hotel
A hybrid model combining condominium ownership and hotel management will be introduced. Owners can use their units like a private villa while also participating in hotel operations when not in use—a rare and innovative stay format in Japan.
Rooms Designed for Long Stays
All 62 rooms include a kitchen and living-dining area. Guests can also enjoy the “Gathering Service,” where ingredients prepared by chefs are delivered to the room so guests can complete their own dishes. The design enables a stay that feels like living there.
Convenient Location
After enjoying skiing or outdoor activities, guests can walk about 8 minutes to reach Hirafu town, where restaurants, cafés, and bars line the streets. The international nightlife offers a contrast to the peaceful atmosphere within the lodge.

Hoshinoya Lodge Niseko is located close to Niseko Grand Hirafu, offering magnificent views of Mt. Yotei and an ideal location that could enable ski-in/ski-out access. This new addition will become an icon in a truly global mountain resort area.
