A New Straitside Resort, “RISONARE Shimonoseki,” Is Opening!
On December 11, 2025, a new property “RISONARE Shimonoseki” will open in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Operated by Hoshino Resorts, RISONARE Shimonoseki will debut in a prime location overlooking the magnificent Kanmon Strait. With all ocean-view guestrooms, restaurants rooted in local food culture, and a wide variety of activities, it is drawing attention as a true “seaside resort.” The property sits on the waterfront with views of the Kanmon Strait and the Karato area; all 187 rooms feature ocean views, embracing the concept of “a stay to fully enjoy the strait.”
Reservations opened on June 24 of the same year.
